Our 5th Student Apprentice who is learning and obtaining their hours for their cosmetology license in the actual flow of a Salon environment. They are so sweet with the biggest heart, not to mention so smart and such a fast learner! We have just opened their books & has hit the floor to start taking clients to showcase their skills and artistry. If you book an appointment with one of your apprentices, your service will be checked by their licensed instructor to ensure the service was done correctly.
Destiny’s passion and curiosity for hair began with their own hair. They have alway been a curious & creative individual at their core and love alternative cuts & styles. They chose cosmetology to round out their skill set in the beauty industry and adding to their arsenal, having done make up for theatrical productions on top of being a medical professional, stage technician and more. Aidan started her cosmetology journey in 2016 when she attended Makeup School for TV & Film in Vancouver, BC. Over the course of five years, Aidan honed her craft in becoming a skilled Makeup Artist gaining experience in Fashion, Commercial and Wedding Makeup and has multiple publications in various magazines. In 2021 She decided to go to cosmetology school to become more dynamic in the beauty industry and then unexpectedly fell in love with hair.
Within the beauty industry, Aidan aims to stay updated on trends and techniques to continually elevate her skills and contribute to the ever evolving world of cosmetology through continued education, creative projects and photoshoots. Her goal is to create personalized low-maintenance styles that perfectly reflect each clients personality and lifestyle, ensuring they leave feeling empowered, confident and with a renewed sense of self-assurance. At an early age, Anika was drawn to alternative hair designs and creative hair color. She started with experimenting with her own hairstyles and colors and had so much fun expressing their creativity through hair, she decided to go to school to learn the foundations. After all, you’ve gotta know the rules to break em… the right way. Combining her love for cosmetology with her deep appreciation for making people feel good about themselves and taking care of them through hair artistry was a full circle moment. She started her career in cosmetology in 2022 and have been a sponge, soaking up every educational opportunity and experience to enhance their craft. Andrea started her professional career in cosmetology in 2022 but her passion & curiosity about hair and the self expression that came with it, tailoring it to ones individual style started at a very young age. She has had every color of the rainbow herself and anytime a new trend pops up she’s the first to try it on herself or a close friend. Thinking that hair color would be her greatest passion, she has found haircutting and styling to be an even greater passion. Angela started her career as an EMT and once she realized her passion to become a professionally licensed cosmetologist she started her career in 2018 & graduated in 2020. She has found a ton of joy in helping her clients feel beautiful inside and out. Since graduating Angela has invested in numerous continued education to make sure she delivers the best work for her clients. Her goals within the beauty industry is to be known for her color, to be published for her beautiful work and to be nominated & win awards for her artistry. Her goals outside of the salon are to one day own a farm to host all the dogs she would love to have, and to open a farm to table coffee shop that also doubles as a laundromat. Heather has always had a passion for the arts. Growing up she participated in performing arts and was immediately drawn to the hair, makeup and costume/wardrobe of creating a character. Wanting a foundational understanding she enrolled in to cosmetology and fashion design. Fast forward to present time- she’s grauduated & a licensed cosmetology professional, a special FX makeup artist, who has a passion for hair color and hair cutting, specializes in Reds, Lived-in Blondes and Vivid Fashion colors - and is also majoring in fashion with a focus on plus sized fashion & body positivity. She knew cosmetology was her path because there’s no other industry that has a professional so fully on the front line of those tasks like cosmetology does. She states “I get to do beautiful hair, lift others up, remind them they are loved and special and make art every single day while doing it!” A few goals Heather-Rose has set for herself is competing in industry competitions, landing a nomination and a win, getting a publication, and utilizing her skills more in the Film & Fashion industry.
